Spring Has Sprung

Ah, spring time. This is my absolute favorite season! I love when it sprinkles or rain at night while I fall asleep. I love seeing all of the beautiful flowers blooming, rainbows, fresh cut green grass, and cutesy pictures of chicks and bunnies.

Easter was my favorite holiday as a kid. I loved getting dressed up in my pretty Easter dress and my mother would  take my younger brother and I to church for service and then there would be a huge Easter egg hunt.

I don't have any kids of my own yet, but I sure do love hanging out with my nieces and nephews. Last year Amber (older "sister", she's my best friend's, Ashley, oldest sister, I just claim them as family) saw an idea on Pinterest for glow in the dark Easter egg hunt. You put small glow sticks in the eggs and turn off the lights and let the kiddos find the eggs. I'm not sure where Amber got her inspiration but when I clicked on an image search on Pinterest I found the below picture and included the link to the SOURCE.

To get into the spirit of Spring I have made the following Spring Subway Art Printable. Feel free to download it HERE. =)

FREE St. Patty's Day Printables

I don't know about you, but I love Subway Art. I've always wanted to create my own, but I don't have Photoshop on my current laptop, so I found a website called Pixlr. It is amazing, it is similar to Photoshop only it's FREE. I really like that I can use all of my own fonts. I created the following St. Patty's Day Subway Art Printable in Pixlr. I still have a lot practice to do before I can say I've fully mastered this program.

Does anyone else use Pixlr?

I have found some other St. Patty's Day Subway Art Printable's on Pinterest and Blogs I follow. I have included their picture and link back to their site to download.

Planning A Wedding...

As all of my friends and family know; Cody and I got married May 20, 2012 in Vegas right before our deployment. I had actually said we could just go to the court house and get married by the Justice Of Peace, but

Where Are All Of The Crafts?

If you just happened to stumble upon my little blog you will notice I only have two posts and not one of them is of a Pinterest pin or a craft I have attempted/created.

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan, so my crafting skills are/will be limited to my environment.
I plan on posting some Pinterest projects I hope to complete when I redeploy back to the States.

I would love if you would be patient and stick around for my posts. :-D

Thank you for your support.
